Remet Socials Private Limited ("Remet", "we") operates this site and is the data fiduciary for the information described below.
This notice covers remet.me, the Remet waitlist website. The Remet mobile app is not yet released; when it launches it will carry its own notice.
If you join the waitlist, we store exactly four things:
That is the whole record. We do not ask for your name, email, age or gender. We use no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers, and we set no cookies — which is why this site has never shown you a cookie banner.
One reason only: to send you a WhatsApp message when Remet opens in your city. We will not use your number for marketing unrelated to Remet, and we will not sell, rent or share it with anyone.
Your number is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database. Access is restricted so that the website can only add new entries — the public website cannot read the list back.
Until Remet launches in your city and we have contacted you, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If Remet does not launch, we will delete the list rather than keep it indefinitely.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
Email support@remet.me from any address, or message the number you signed up with. Removal is immediate and needs no reason. Withdrawing consent means we stop contacting you and delete your entry.
If we have not resolved something to your satisfaction, write to support@remet.me marked "Grievance". We aim to respond within 7 days.
